Assignment: "I want you to create one to three panoramic images. Remember to reduce these to at least 1000 to 1200
pixels in width before posting. I would suggest you start out shooting horizontal type images as this is much
easier. If you have a tripod, make use of it, but also try some handheld images. Start out easy here, 2 to 4
images to stitch. You will quickly find out your limitations. Don't bother cropping the final stitched image as I
would like to see what the raw image is as produced by whatever software you are using. If you have time for
cropping, etc, go right ahead but use the same image so we can see the before/after view. You don't have to
enhance the image either, but if you do so, post both the image as before enhanced, and after enhanced. If
you go this route, then enhance only the cropped image. I would suggest using AutoStitch, since it is free, and
does an excellent job of stitching handheld images. But no matter what software you use, let us know what
you are using. Also let us know what camera and lens you are using."
My gear: My camera is a Nikon D40 with a 18-70 Nikon lens. My tripod is something I purchased at a retail store. I downloaded AutoStitch and find it very easy to use.
