I stood back and focused on the flower.

We went to a place called the Farm at Walnut Creek and the following images are from this visit. I put my camera on manual and missed alot of good shots, but I learned. I am leaving my camera on manual more and more these days.

I had the camera on manual F-Stop f5.6 and Aperture f/4.4
ISO 200 and my focal length was 70 mm

tour wagon

I had the camera on manual F-Stop f5.6 and Aperture f/4.4
ISO 200 and my focal length was 62 mm. Same setting as above except for the focal length. This would be a shot that I could have done better with.

This is the second wagon of people going through ahead of our wagon. There are 300 different types of animals that you can feed off the wagon as it stops during the tour.

parot

One of my better pictures.

I had the camera on Aperture priority F-Stop f5.6 and Aperture f/4.3
ISO 200 and my focal length was 40 mm

wind mill

My perfect chance to get a spinning object. I haven't mastered this. I tried and tried and my party left me standing there. When I get time, I will revisit this.

I had the camera on Aperture priority F-Stop f5.6 and Aperture f/4.0
ISO 1600 and my focal length was 31 mm

wind mill2

I had the camera on Shutter priority F-Stop f29 and Aperture f/4.4
ISO 1600 and my focal length was 46 mm

I needed my printed assignment with me. I had not remembered the recipe to catch the spinning of an object.

giraff

I had the camera on manual F-Stop f5.6 and Aperture f/4.0
ISO 200 and my focal length was 31 mm

Alfie and Iashia

F-Stop f3.5 and Aperture f/3.5
ISO 400 and my focal length was 18 mm.

The Amish children in the background were very curious about Iashia, the little girl sitting with her ice cream. They came up and surrounded her looking at her. We were amused. Now we know how they feel when we stare at them.

Iashia paid them no attention while she ate her homemade ice cream.
