"--Take some macro images, if your camera is capable of that.
--Try getting some images where part of the image is out of focus, but the subject is in focus."

Humming bird flying into unfocused territory.

Visitors from the city are always entertained by the humming birds at my feeders .

We have been feeding these guys for 3 years. They migrate away for the winter and visit again around Mother's Day. Last year I didn't have their feeders out yet and was planting annuals. A hummingbird buzzed up to me and started drinking from the flower while it was in my hand. Wonderful creatures to have around the yard. The cats think they are huge mosiqitoes and don't try to catch them either, and that is a plus.
Their diet, 1 cup of sugar and 4 cups of water. Boil til the sugar is disolved. Cool and pour into the feeders.
